Algeciras CF took the three points from Reino de León thanks to a great collective work and Pepe Mena’s goal at the beginning of the second half.
The team coached by Iván Ania came out well at the Cultural Leonesa stadium and the clearest chances of the match would be for our team, apart from a hand to hand shot by Rubén Miño at the beginning of the match. David Martín in minute 18 would have the first clear chance for the visitors, and Pepe Mena in minute 34, after a great pass from Roni, would also have the chance to put the Red and Whites ahead, but the scoreboard would not move before the break.
Just after coming out of the stall, a good cross to the far post by Albarrán was converted by Pepe Mena into the goal that would eventually be the definitive one with an accurate header. Far from backing down, the team kept looking for the goal, and in 55′ Salvi Carrasco made a great save, like the one he made in the first leg at El Mirador, saving a great hand from Roni in a one-on-one that the Asturian led to perfection after a great through ball from Mario Ortiz.
