The lower categories of Algeciras CF ended their season this weekend with their U19 B Team fighting until the last day for promotion in Third Andalusian, staying at the gates of the same, in a season in which they went from less to more.
The overall balance of the Algeciras academy is positive, except for the blemish of the relegation of the U19 A Team in Honor Division, a very demanding category in which our players gave their best and lived the experience despite not achieving the objective.
The B Team, with a young and very renewed squad, remained in the middle of the table almost all the season, managing to finish in eighth position and fulfilling the objective of permanence in a competitive First Andalusian.
Our U17 A Team achieved the greatest success, achieving promotion to the highest division of the category, reaching the Honor Division. While the U17 B Team, with a young and first year team, competed toe to toe with all their rivals in the Second Andalusian.
Finally, the U16 Team fought until the last day for promotion to the First Andalusian League in a great season for our team, in which they were just short of achieving the prize of the Honor Division.
