NEW STAGE OF THE ALGECIRAS FOOTBALL CLUB
W. Mac Lackey, a successful North American entrepreneur, entered as a shareholder with the aim of continuing to professionalize the Club.
The project includes a plan for the development, growth and internationalization of the Club as well as the promotion of the City of Algeciras.
Lately, various actions have taken place within the Algeciras Club de Futbol in order to provide it with a greater professionalization that allows it to stabilize its progress with a view to the future.
The transformation into a Sociedad Anónima Deportiva, the arrival of the new managing team and the international development agreement reached with Mr Lackey, are some of the examples of the steps taken during these last months of improvement and stabilization of the new club project.
The proposal made lately by Félix Sancho goes a step further, by publicly announcing Mac Lackey, a successful North American entrepreneur as a shareholder of the Club, reinforcing and strengthening the arrival of CEO Ramón Robert. As a shareholder Mr. Lackey hopes to continue the club’s professionalization path initiated by Ramon Robert, as well as support it financially amid the pressing obligations with public administrations.
Thus, ALGECIRAS CF wishes to welcome the arrival of our new shareholder, Mac Lackey. We believe that in addition to giving the club more visibility in its commitment to internationalization, Mr. Lackey’s entrance will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and professionalization of our club to the benefit of our players, staff and our supporters.
Today marks a new stage for our club. A stage marked by optimism for a future where our members, fans, supporters and, ultimately, the entire city of Algeciras, will come together and see Algeciras CF reach its fullest potential.
