Algeciras CF has signed 33-year-old midfielder Mario Ortiz from Pontevedra until the end of the season.
Ortiz (Santander, 24/03/1989) has played 16 games for the Galician team this season, including two in the Copa del Rey. He made his debut in the First Division with Racing Santander, has more than 160 games in Liga Smartbank and more than 250 in Segunda B/ Primera RFEF, having achieved three promotions to the Second Division with Albacete, Cultural Leonesa and Racing Santander. He has also played for teams such as Castellón, Hércules, Córdoba and the Espanyol reserve team.
