Great victory for our team away at Cerro del Espino, home of Rayo Majadahonda, by 0-2, thanks to goals by Iván Turillo and Borja Fernández in 66′ and 70′, respectively. A great collective work of Iván Ania’s men who brought the three points to Algeciras, bringing the team a little closer to the goal.
Algeciras CF dominated the game, having the possession and most of the chances of the match, in a game marked by the strong heat. Our team did not give any ball away and kept a clean sheet for the second week in a row.
With this victory, Algeciras CF is placed with 36 points out of the danger positions. Next week, on match day 32, we will receive a direct rival, San Fernando, in a provincial derby to be played on Sunday 16 at 16:00.
